Welcome to the Instructional Page

We hope this page will help enable all students to meet the high standards and expectations needed to graduate from high school as productive, caring members of society. You will find professional and curriculum development that prepares supervisors and teachers to use strategies that will insure their students success . Parents and guardians should work as partners in the education of their children. School staff and parents should work together to ensure the accomplishment of these goals. The instructional page is fortunate to have had a team of directors, content area specialists, staff developers and school improvement coordinators from the former district 71 Manhattan High Schools who worked diligently to plan, create and implement quality instructional and professional development that we are able to show you some of in our Instructional sections of this website.. The information is usefull for school teachers, principals, and other staff to refine course curriculum, integrate technology and new approaches and to conduct professional development activities. It is important to involve all members of the school: supervisors, teachers, support staff, students and their parents. We believe in life long learning by encouraging curiosity, inquiry, and appreciation for our cultural diversity. Please take advantage of the wealth of resources available in Manhattan to enrich our learning experiences and to make a difference for the children you serve.
